Service Description

We prepare trademark applications for filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”). This service includes an initial USPTO database search, an analysis of the mark’s likelihood of registration, and a memorandum providing advice on potential issues with registration. For an additional fee, we are also able to offer research and analysis services for word mark usage in all 50 states. Process: (1) Upon booking and receipt of deposit payment, an intake form and engagement letter ("engagement docs") will be sent for review. (2) On the date selected, an hour long consultation to discuss needs/pricing will occur (3) EVLG will commence initial research on USPTO database and memorandum preparation (2-3 week turnaround) upon receipt of the engagement docs. (4) Upon completion of the initial research a link to set an an "Existing Client Call" will be sent to customer. The purpose of the call is to discuss the memorandum and answer any questions customer may have. (5) The filing invoice will be sent the customer. (6) EVLG will prepare and file the researched mark with the USPTO office. (7) EVLG will continue to follow up with the USPTO office and engage in any follow up correspondence regarding registration. Any office action responses may be subject to additional fees.
